Sabora Raised Timber Pathway – Steel‑Supported Walkway with Mahogany Decking for Camps, Lodges & Remote Sites
The Sabora Raised Timber Pathway is engineered for properties that need durable, elevated access routes between tents, rooms, and shared facilities. Manufactured in Kenya, the system combines a medium‑weight steel support structure with hardwood decking boards, commonly specified in mahogany. This construction provides a stable walking surface while lifting pedestrian traffic above uneven, wet, or environmentally sensitive ground.
This solution is appropriate for safari lodges, tented camps, eco‑resorts, and remote research stations. By creating clear, guarded walkways, it improves guest safety during day and night movement while supporting a controlled circulation plan around elevated tents and platforms, as illustrated in the imagery. The raised design also assists with drainage and reduces erosion on frequently used paths.
The pathway is fabricated in modular sections, allowing it to follow site contours and connect multiple structures. Welded steel guardrails with tensioned infill provide lateral protection without obstructing views. Decking boards are treated for outdoor exposure and fixed to resist movement under heavy usage. The system can be customised in width, height, and alignment to match project layouts and load requirements.
Pricing is calculated on a per‑metre basis, with each project quoted according to site conditions, length, and specification. Final costs include manufacturing, supply, delivery, and installation, ensuring structural integrity and correct anchoring in the field.
