We are located at Karen Park, opposite St. Christopher’s International School, Nairobi, Kenya. Our location serves as both a showroom where you can browse products and a production workshop where all our items are handcrafted.

What are your business hours?

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

We are also closed on Kenyan public holidays.

Can I visit your showroom?

Yes, we welcome visitors to our Karen Park shop. You can browse our full product range, see our craftsmanship firsthand, discuss custom projects, and place orders for collection or delivery. No appointment is necessary during regular business hours, though appointments are recommended for custom project consultations.

We use carefully selected materials known for durability and performance:

Canvas: Heavy-duty canvas and ripstop fabric selected for tear resistance, breathability, and longevity. We use different weights depending on the product application.

Leather: Genuine leather including tan, chestnut, mocca, and glossy finishes. We use leather for handles, reinforcement at stress points, trims, and full-leather products.

Hardware: Brass buckles, metal zippers, and quality fasteners chosen for strength and corrosion resistance.

Linings: Quality interior linings to protect contents and improve durability.

Are your products handmade?

Yes, all Sabora Canvas products are handcrafted by skilled artisans in our Nairobi workshop. Our team includes leather workers, canvas specialists, and tent makers who have developed their craft through years of experience. Every product is measured, cut, stitched, and inspected by hand.

How durable are Sabora products?

Our products are built for long-term use in demanding conditions. We design for safari dust, tropical weather, rough handling, and daily wear. The combination of quality materials, reinforced construction, and careful craftsmanship means our products typically last for many years with proper care.

Canvas naturally resists tearing and gets better with age. Leather develops character and patina over time. Hardware is selected to resist corrosion in humid conditions.

Do your products come with a warranty?

While we do not offer a formal warranty programme, we stand behind our craftsmanship. Manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced free of charge at our discretion. Warranty claims must be made within 6 months of purchase with proof of purchase.

Normal wear and tear, damage from misuse, accidents, or improper care is not covered.

Can I see products before buying?

Yes, you can visit our showroom at Karen Park to view our full product range before purchasing. Our team can demonstrate features, help you compare options, and ensure you select the right product for your needs.

Can I make changes to my custom order after placing it?

Changes may be possible before production begins. Contact us immediately if you need to modify your order. Once production has started, changes may not be possible or may incur additional costs and delays. We will advise you on feasibility and any implications.

Do you offer corporate branding on products?

Ordering and Payment

How do I place an order?

You can place orders through the following methods:

Online: Browse our website and add items to your cart. Complete checkout with your shipping information and payment.

In Person: Visit our showroom at Karen Park, select your products, and complete payment on-site.

Phone or Email: Contact us with your order details. We will confirm availability, provide total cost including shipping, and arrange payment.

What payment methods do you accept?

When is payment due?

For standard orders, payment is due at the time of purchase. Orders are processed and dispatched after payment is received and confirmed.

For custom orders, we typically require a 50-70% deposit to begin production, with the remaining balance due before delivery or collection.

For large corporate or trade orders, we may offer alternative payment terms upon agreement.

Do you offer payment plans or credit?

We do not currently offer payment plans or credit facilities for individual customers. Payment must be received before order dispatch.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes, we offer delivery services within Nairobi and across Kenya. We also ship internationally.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. For large or bulky items, we may provide a custom shipping quote.

How long does delivery take?

Nairobi: 1 to 3 business days
Other Kenyan towns: 3 to 7 business days depending on location
International: 7 to 21 business days depending on destination and shipping method

Can I collect my order from your showroom?

Yes, collection from our Karen Park showroom is available free of charge. Select the collection option at checkout or when placing your order. We will notify you when your order is ready for collection.

What if I am not available to receive my delivery?

If you are not available, the courier will typically:

  • Leave a collection notice for pickup at a nearby depot
  • Attempt redelivery on the next business day

These items are crafted specifically to your requirements and cannot be resold.

What items cannot be returned?

How do I initiate a return?

How do I care for canvas products?

To maintain your canvas products:

  • Brush off loose dirt and dust regularly
  • Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap
  • For deeper cleaning, use a soft brush with lukewarm water and mild detergent
  • Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storage
  • Do not machine wash or tumble dry

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Re-proof with canvas waterproofing spray if water resistance diminishes

How do I care for leather products?

To maintain your leather products:

  • For light cleaning, use a damp cloth and allow to dry naturally
  • Condition leather periodically with a quality leather conditioner to prevent drying and cracking
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight which can fade and dry leather

  • Store in a dust bag or breathable cover when not in use
  • Avoid contact with water, oils, and chemicals
  • If leather gets wet, blot with a dry cloth and allow to dry naturally away from heat

Can I waterproof my canvas bag?

Yes, you can maintain or restore water resistance by applying a canvas waterproofing spray or wax. Follow the product instructions carefully. Test on a small, inconspicuous area first. Allow the product to dry completely before use.

How should I store Sabora products?

For best longevity:

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Avoid damp or humid environments which can cause mildew
  • Stuff bags with tissue paper or bubble wrap to maintain shape
  • Do not store under heavy objects that could crush or deform the product
  • For tents and large canvas items, ensure they are completely dry before folding and storing

Do you offer repair services?

Yes, we offer repair services for Sabora products. Depending on the damage, we can repair stitching, replace hardware, patch canvas, or recondition leather. Bring your item to our Karen Park workshop for assessment.
